#Butterfest22 is here!

Butterfest 2022 has arrived, with Pre-Fest events continuing this morning.

Throughout the spring, we've named our Festmaster Steve Schauf, Parade Marshal (and current President) Kim Smith and Lady Butterfest Jenny Lydon. Last weekend, the Miss Sparta Scholarship Program crowned Ellie Eswein as Miss Sparta 2022, along with Outstanding Teen Grace Giraud, and Jr. Miss Sparta Kiralynn Lakowske. Jr. Miss Sparta also named princesses Ella and Kalli to the 2022 Royalty. 

This morning, the first of the Medallion Hunt clues was released. Check our Facebook page for the clues throughout the week, and have fun searching! 

We look forward to seeing everyone on the fest grounds this Thursday through Sunday!

We have a winner! Our 2022 button is unveiled

Congratulations to Cheyanne Stanfield for winning this year's button design contest with her design pictured here! The buttons will be available during fest weekend, as well as during pre-sales at local Sparta businesses in the end of May. 

Buttons are $3 in advance and $5 at the gate.

Our Button Design Contest is now open! Each year, we ask for submissions for our button design. Submissions will be judged by the committee and the winning button design will become our festival button, which will be available on the Fest Grounds and is required to attend certain fest events.
